Dr. Sydney Pokard

Starting my own practice has been a dream of mine for as long as I have wanted to be a veterinarian. I started Fauna Veterinary Collective because of my love for all species and because I wanted to create something unique. My vision is so beyond the traditional standards of veterinary medicine.

I am confident I have what it takes to be a good leader and create change within vet med. I have worked in vet med since I was sixteen and have performed every role within the clinic. I do really understand the needs of each team member and I remember how it feels to be in each postition. I will always lead with kindness, something we all know vet med needs more of.

My focus for Fauna is to have a place where people (the team and clients) and pets love to be. I value a good workplace culture tremendously and will always keep this as my top priority. It also doesn’t hurt that the clinic will be bougie and beautiful!
